This collection contains birth, marriage, and death records of individuals from Paris, France, between the years 1700 and 1859. Birth records include the name of the child, the date and place of birth, and the names of the parents. Marriage records include the name of the bride and groom, the date and place of marriage and the names of the parents. Death records include the name of the deceased, and the date and place of death.<br><br>This collection was added following MyHeritage's acquisition of Filae.<br><br>

Denis Diderot was a French philosopher, art critic, and writer, best known for serving as co-founder, chief editor, and contributor to the Encyclopédie along with Jean le Rond d'Alembert. He was a prominent figure during the Age of Enlightenment.
During the 1740s he wrote many of his best-known works in both fiction and non-fiction, including the 1748 novel Les Bijoux indiscrets (The Indiscreet Jewels).
